E-books at Wilfrid Laurier University Press

Please note that we do not accept orders on our Web site from customers outside of the U.S. and Canada. Check here for information on ordering from other countries.

WLU Press printed books and e-books are sold online through University of Toronto Press Distribution via Moneris Solutions. The final credit card screen will take you to the UTP Distribution / Moneris Solutions page, which is a secure site for credit card processing.

You will receive an online receipt and an e-mail receipt for your credit card payment. Canadian orders are billed in Canadian dollars and all other orders are billed in U.S. dollars.

If your order includes one or more e-books, the download(s) will appear on the receipt page, following the credit card payment.

ePubs

ePubs that are purchased on the WLU Press website contain digital rights management (DRM) protection that restricts items from being shared with others. The DRM for WLU Press epubs is handled by Adobe Digital Editions. To view purchased epubs through our site you must first install Adobe Digital Editions and activate an Adobe ID. There is no charge to do so.

Adobe Digital Editions ensures that your epubs are not locked on one computer or device. They are assigned to you through an Adobe ID and can be viewed on any compatible device activated with your Adobe ID. This means your purchased epub can be viewed on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device but only if your Adobe ID is activated before purchase. Note your Adobe ID (email address and password).

Once you have an Adobe ID, you still need a reading application if you are using a tablet or mobile phone. We recommend BlueFire Reader, which also uses Adobe ID. Click here for instructions on using BlueFire Reader.
