WLU Press is 50!
We’re so excited to be celebrating in 2024 fifty years of publishing amazing books. We have a brand new logo, designed for us by Martyn Schmoll, and we’ve rolled it out on our website and on social media sites. We have a lot planned over the next year to commemorate this important milestone.
Watch this space for interviews with former staff members who will tell us what has changed (and what has stayed the same) over the last few decades. We’ll talk to authors past and present about their books and their experiences publishing with WLU Press. We’ll use our new podcasting studio to record some casual and informative conversations about what we do day to day and how university presses contribute to communities local and global, scholarly and literary. We’ll share images from our archives and we’ll keep you informed as to further celebratory plans ahead. Be sure to watch this space so you can save the date for an in-person celebration this spring.
